Millions of demonstrators took to the streets across the United States and Europe on Saturday in what organizers called the largest single-day nationwide demonstrations in U.S. history. The “No Kings” rallies drew at least 8 million participants across all 50 states and multiple continents.
Protesters voiced strong opposition to the escalating war in Iran and President Donald Trump’s military policies. Similar demonstrations were held in major European cities including Rome, London, and Paris, showing international solidarity against the conflict.
The protests come as tensions in the Middle East continue to escalate. U.S. Marines have reportedly arrived in the region, while the Houthis in Yemen have entered the conflict by launching missile attacks. Despite claims of diplomatic talks, strikes have continued unabated.
Meanwhile, Iran’s Revolutionary Guard has threatened to target U.S. universities in the Middle East if bombing of Iranian universities is not condemned by March 30. The conflict has already resulted in significant casualties and continues to threaten regional stability.
International observers are calling for immediate de-escalation, warning that the conflict could have far-reaching consequences for global security and economic stability.
